We accumulate many roles in our lifetime. We start with only a few; but even the seemingly mundane aspects of our existence offer adventure, comedy, and richness.
I enjoyed a short stint as a teacher, laying aside that role for one of mother. A few years later, I squeezed in the role of social worker to an already full identity package.
I have been an author since the day I could hold a pencil and a speaker from the moment I uttered my first distinguishable word. However, I formally assumed these aspirations in 2000, adding the role of late bloomer to the proliferation of identities.
I am the wife of an adorable and patient man, the mother of three, the grandmother of six, and a pet owner. All these roles provide abundant comedic resources.
I am a resident of upstate New York, just north of the beautiful Adirondacks and a few miles shy of the Canadian border. When not writing, speaking, or traveling, I enjoy my roles as actress and director for our community theater group.
