Sunset Beach

An odd house, odd characters, and help from unlikely sources
depict this contemporary story. Set in a San Diego beach, Sonny
Miller hopes to spend some quality time with her mother and
rents a cottage. Sonny fails to tell her mother that she has also
invited Teresa’s estranged twin sister.  Melanie accepts the
invitation and the plot thickens leading to revelations. As those
unwanted memories surface, tensions rise.

As Sonny confronts her mother’s past, she also comes face to
face with her own when she runs into Grig, perfect adolescent
summer love. He had plans and she had plans. Separately, God
has brought them through different paths to emerge at this
time and place, a place where now they can share faith and love.

Author of
The Guy I’m Not Dating and Too Good to Be True, Trish
Perry joins Sally John in
The Beach House Series, joining a host
of characters who discover truths, direction, and guidance and
are helped in the process by quirky neighbors, Zeke and Julian.

Though I found the pace a bit slow, the story was indeed
engaging. A story about discovery, love, betrayal, and
forgiveness.  A good read.
