Fugitive Casey O’Hare had joined the gang of outlaws as a
teenager with her brother Tim. After seven years of being used
and abused, she longs for something better than life on the
run. She makes a run for it only to be captured by a man bent on
killing the outlaw leader, Davis Jenkins.
Morgan Andrews, a once bright and promising attorney, has
pursued the outlaw Jenkins in a quest to avenge his wife’s
murder. Jenkins has been an elusive target. But his luck
changes when he encounters Jenkins woman. He kidnaps her
believing she will lead him to his quest. But she is not the hard-
core, leathered woman he thought.
When these two disparate individuals clash, love is ignited.
Casey is on the run again, this time from the one man who could
save her from the end of a rope and give her the home she
craves. Set in the old west, the story propels the reader from
the first page to it’s conclusion.
Diann Mills has once again weaved a story of adventure where
love is challenged and faith overcomes a hardened past. Even
the worst of mistakes find forgiveness in God’s grace.
