teach English to Arab girls at a Western-style university and write
my articles/books. My novel will take you to this Gulf city in the
Middle East, where everything isn’t terrorism and poverty; you
might not have imagined a city like this, and the main characters of
Desert Redemption hail from America, the Philippines, and the

The novel: When Pakistani child Janda is kidnapped, taken to the
UAE, and forced to train camels, his friend Bailey comes after him.
Bailey, an American English teacher, is engaged to Lola, a
Christian nurse. In Dubai, he not only has to track down Janda but
deal with his troubled Midwestern past. Will he find Janda? Can he
marry Lola? Does the Christian God exist? Explore the sands of
Arabia on an adventure of love, danger, and spiritual enlightenment
