Delia Latham
DELIA LATHAM has been writing something ever since she
figured out to hold a pencil. Over the years, she has
penned songs and poetry, written short stories and articles,
and sold greeting card verses. She worked as a staff writer
for her county’s largest daily newspaper, and has been a
frequent contributor to a popular regional magazine. For
years, the author promised herself “a real book …
someday.” She finally saw that dream come true when her
debut novel,
Almost Like a Song, was published in June
2006.
Goldeneyes, an inspirational historical romance, will
be released early in 2008 by
Vintage Romance Publishing.

“It’s a joy to be able to touch the hearts of others through
the talent God gave me for writing,” Delia says. She lives in
Bakersfield, California with her husband Johnny, a
Pentecostal minister. Her four children and four
grandchildren live nearby and are the light of her life.

When she’s not writing, Delia loves to design bookmarks
and business cards for other authors. Currently, she is
“neck-deep” into a couple of writing projects – possibly
even a sequel.  “Keep your eyes open,” she says. “Who
knows what might be on the next page?”

Testimony:

What a mighty God we serve! He has been and continues
to be so good to me. He is my Anchor. He is the Rock I
build my faith on.

In the past year in particular, my heavenly Father has
opened doors and cleared paths for me that I would never
have thought possible. But time and again, He proves to
me that with Him, all things are possible! It is my constant
prayer that I might, in some small way, give back to Him
just a portion of the blessings He so lavishly bestows upon
me.

If I can use the talent He gave me as a means to touch the
hearts of readers, to encourage and uplift them; if I can
bring a breath of Heaven into hearts that might not
otherwise feel that wonderful, refreshing breeze; if I can
feed a soul that’s hungry or direct one that is searching …
then I will have accomplished my goal.

My hands and my heart are lifted to my God in praise, for
He alone is worthy!
