For nothing is impossible with God
(Luke 1:37 NIV).

The angel has brought Mary incredible
news. She is going to be a mother. But she
has not known the pleasure of a man. How
strange the words the angel says. The
angel tells her that even her cousin
Elizabeth is going to have a child in her old
age. All these things are possible with God.

I’m reminded of the angel’s words to Sarah
at the news she would be a mother. “Is
anything too hard for the Lord?”

Why then do we limit God’s possibilities in
our endeavors? Why do we think in
temporal terms when it comes to our
infinite God?

He is the God over the seemingly
impossible.
